These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the GigSeeka platform (“Platform”), owned and operated by SNAPYGEEKS LLC., registered under OHADA business laws. By accessing or using the Platform, clients (“Client” or “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
Platform: The GigSeeka mobile and web application that connects Clients with Service Providers.
Client: Any individual or legal entity booking a service through the Platform.
Service Provider: Independent contractor or business offering services through the Platform.
Services: Tasks, gigs, or jobs offered by Service Providers.
Company: The entity managing the GigSeeka platform.
Clients must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity under applicable law.
Clients must provide accurate, complete, and updated information when registering.
Provide truthful information about the service request.
Respect the agreed time, place, and conditions of service delivery.
Pay for services in accordance with the Platform’s payment system.
Avoid abusive, discriminatory, or illegal behavior towards Service Providers or the Company.
All payments for Services must be made through the Platform’s secure payment system.
Clients agree to pay the advertised or negotiated price, plus applicable fees and taxes.
Payments are released to Service Providers only after service completion, subject to dispute resolution procedures.
Clients may cancel a booking if Service Execution has not started for a full refund.
Cancellations made after this period may incur a penalty or partial refund only.
Refunds are processed through the same payment method used at booking.
In cases of fraud, failure to deliver, or proven negligence, full refunds may apply after investigation.
In case of disputes, Clients must first contact the Service Provider via the Platform.
If unresolved, Clients may escalate the complaint to the Company.
The Company will mediate disputes but is not legally responsible for the final outcome of services delivered.
Disputes unresolved by mediation shall be settled according to OHADA Uniform Act provisions, before the competent courts of Cameroon.
The Company is a facilitator and not the employer of Service Providers.
The Company is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of services, except as required by law.
Liability of the Company is limited to the total amount of fees paid by the Client through the Platform in the last 3 months.
The Company collects and processes personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Data will be used only for service facilitation, payments, and dispute handling.
The Company may update these Terms at any time.
Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by OHADA Uniform Acts and the national laws of Cameroon.
By using the GigSeeka Platform, the Client acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
